The sars-cov-2 virus or coronavirus attacks the human respiratory system, causing mild to severe disorders and even death. Diseases caused by the virus can attack anyone without exception, including young people. So far, the use of masks is part of a series of prevention and control measures that can limit and reduce the spread of viral diseases. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that influence adolescent adherence to the use of masks as an effort to prevent COVID-19. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires and observations during April-June in the working area of the Burau Health Center in 2021. Data analysis was in the form of bivariate analysis using the chi square test while multivariate analysis using multiple logistic regression tests (multiple logistic regretion). The results of the bivariate analysis obtained knowledge, namely (p value = 0.055 > 0.05), attitudes (p value = 0.034 < 0.05), motivation (p value = 0.028 < 0.05), sources of information (p value = 0.005 < 0 0.05), environment (p value = 0.017 < 0.05) and results multivariate knowledge results (p value = 0.251 > 0.05), attitude (p value 0.092 > 0.05), motivation (p value = 0.544 > 0 0.05), source of information (p value = 0.007 <0.05), environment (p value = 0.020 < 0.05). The conclusion in this study shows that knowledge, attitudes, motivation, sources of information have no effect while the environment and sources of information have an influence on adolescent compliance in using masks as an effort to prevent covid-19 in the work area of the Burau Health Center, East Luwu Regency.
