Tarakan City records the highest HIV/AIDS cases in North Kalimantan, with adolescents as a significant contributor. This study aims to analyze adolescents’ knowledge of HIV/AIDS and the multidimensional factors influencing it, including geographical, sociocultural, educational, and psychosocial aspects. This study uses a descriptive-qualitative approach based on literature review and secondary data, analyzed thematically. Results show that low sexual literacy among adolescents is driven by inadequate sex education, social stigma, limited access in remote areas (3T), and digital misinformation. These factors contribute to risky sexual behavior, low HIV testing awareness, and mental health issues. HIV/AIDS prevention among adolescents requires a multisectoral approach, including school- and culture-based sex education, digital literacy improvement, youth-friendly health services, and active adolescent involvement. Cross-sector collaboration is crucial to building an informed, protected, and empowered young generation.
2025-09-25T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Rusmiati, Nurul Fatimah Azzarah, Nur Yola Salsabila, Lutfi Dwy Adinda, Kamelia Ananditha, Siti Itsnah Mardiyah, Rika Septianihttp://nersmid.unmerbaya.ac.id/index.php/nersmid/article/view/265Tinjauan Naratif tentang Hubungan Asupan Kalsium terhadap Hipertensi pada Kehamilan2025-09-25T00:12:41+07:00Rezzita Astianirezzitaastiani@gmail.comMona Nulandarezzitaastiani@gmail.comAmelia Abdullahrezzitaastiani@gmail.com
Hypertension in pregnancy is one of the leading causes of maternal morbidity and mortality worldwide. These disorders are generally caused by hormonal imbalances, such as increased androgens, abnormal LH/FSH ratio and insulin resistance. Risk factors that aggravate the condition include obesity, unhealthy lifestyle, stress, insulin resistance and genetic factors. The impact is not only on the reproductive system such as infertility, but also psychological risks and long-term complications such as metabolic syndrome and endometrial cancer. PCOS treatment includes lifestyle changes, hormonal therapy, as well as additional medications such as metformin. An in-depth understanding of the relationship between PCOS and menstrual disorders is important for early intervention to prevent long-term complications and improve the quality of life of women with PCOS.2025-09-25T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 http://nersmid.unmerbaya.ac.id/index.php/nersmid/article/view/289Ulkus Kaki Diabetik Sebuah Laporan Kasus2025-09-25T06:29:07+07:00Muhammad Syahrirasyahrir20@gmail.comIndah Lestari Daeng Kanangindahlestaridaeng.kanang@umi.ac.idFadil Mula Putrafadilmula.putra@gmail.comDiabetes mellitus is derived from the Greek word diabetes, meaning to suck through, and the Latin word mellitus, meaning sweet. One of the main therapies to treat this blockage is the administration of streptokinase, a thrombolytic agent that functions to dissolve blood clots. This paper aims to assess the effectiveness of streptokinase use in patients with AMI through a literature review of various international and national clinical studies. The method used is a literature review with descriptive analysis of relevant research results. The study results indicate that early administration of streptokinase can reduce mortality and improve patient prognosis, despite the risk of allergic reactions and lower efficacy compared to newer generation thrombolytics. However, due to its widespread availability and lower cost, streptokinase remains the primary treatment of choice in many developing countries.
2025-09-25T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Musdalifa, Wisudawan, Purwati Pole Riohttp://nersmid.unmerbaya.ac.id/index.php/nersmid/article/view/277Perbandingan Efektivitas Modalitas Radiologi Dalam Deteksi Dini Kanker Payudara 2025-09-25T09:02:48+07:00Yudia Nurul Elizayudianurul128@gmail.comFebie Irsandy Syahruddinyudianurul128@gmail.comAbdul Syukur Kuddusyudianurul128@gmail.com
Cancer is one of the leading causes of death worldwide. Breast cancer is one of the more common in women, which appears as a malignant tumor in breast tissue consisting of mammary glands, milk ducts, connective tissue, and adipose. This study aimed to compare the effectiveness of radiologic modalities in the early detection of breast cancer, focusing on grayscale ultrasound, mammography and MRI examinations. The research method included a literature review of previous studies that discussed the comparative effectiveness of radiologic modalities in the early detection of breast cancer. The analysis showed that mammography, ultrasound and MRI are the imaging methods used to detect breast cancer, with each having advantages and disadvantages in terms of sensitivity and specificity. MRI has the highest sensitivity, especially for detecting small tumors and in women with dense breast tissue, but has lower specificity than mammography. Mammography, despite the use of radiation, is effective for early detection, especially in women with high risk factors. Ultrasound is often used as a follow-up examination or to evaluate lumps detected on mammogram.
2025-09-25T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Yudia Nurul Eliza, Febie Irsandy Syahruddin, Abdul Syukur Kuddushttp://nersmid.unmerbaya.ac.id/index.php/nersmid/article/view/278Hubungan Tingkat Pengetahuan Dengan Kesiapan Menghadapi Menopause Pada Wanita Usia Pre Menopause Di Desa Bengbulang Kecamatan Karangpucung Kabupaten Cilacap2025-09-25T09:14:24+07:00Yulianawatiyulianawati075@gmail.comDiah Atmarina Yyulianawati075@gmail.com
Menopause is a natural biological process experienced by all women, marked by the permanent cessation of menstruation. The national family planning program, particularly the use of intrauterine devices (IUDs) as a long-term contraceptive method, is a key strategy to address this issue. However, the uptake of long-term contraceptive methods (Metode Kontrasepsi Jangka Panjang/MKJP) at RSUD (Regional Public Hospital) Banyumas remains low. This study aims to analyze the factors associated with third-trimester pregnant womens interest in using IUDs. This research employed a cross-sectional analytic correlational design involving 93 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using the Spearman Rank correlation test to examine relationships between the dependent variable (interest in using IUDs) and the independent variables: parity, knowledge level, income, husbands support, and education. Results there was no statistically significant association between education level (p = 0.359) or parity (p = 0.487) and interest in IUD use. However, significant associations were found between income (p = 0.044), knowledge (p = 0.031), and husbands support (p = 0.001) and the interest in using IUDs. Conclusion the majority of respondents had a high level of education, income below the regional minimum wage, were multiparous, possessed moderate knowledge, and reported strong support from their husbands. Husbands support was found to have a moderately strong influence on interest in IUD use. It is recommended that health workers enhance educational efforts and actively involve husbands in the counseling process. RSUD Banyumas is also encouraged to develop Information, Education, and Communication (IEC/KIE) programs targeted at couples. Future research should consider exploring other influencing factors such as perceived side effects, cultural and religious beliefs, and counseling history.
2025-09-25T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Meilyn Amina Faurur, Purwatihttp://nersmid.unmerbaya.ac.id/index.php/nersmid/article/view/292Pengaruh Media Digital Audiovisual Terhadap Pencegahan Perilaku Merokok Dan Napza2025-09-30T14:59:17+07:00Zora Ismuna Waddah Waddahzraismunawaddah@gmail.comDewi Sartikazraismunawaddah@gmail.comNanda Desrezazraismunawaddah@gmail.com
Smoking among teenagers has become a very alarming phenomenon, judging from the increasing number of teenagers who smoke.
